Funny that you mention Half Life as it was one of the most boring games I ever forced myself to complete. I always waited for to "epic moment" to come but it was actually just tedious and soulless.

It has worked occasionally. I really liked the first two NFS Underground games and EA made no secret of pandering to the masses with them.

Coc has exponentialy increased my gaming hours.

I go longer, I play harder and I feel I have more in me. I needed coc to remind me of what was missing, that empty void that needed filled.

Looks like your standard 3D-runabout game to me but with better graphics..

Me too, especially when cool just means emo or extreme sport wannabes. Characters like that really put me off playing the game at all. Those recent Far Cry 4 posters with the edgy villain sitting on a stash of guns and ammo made me want to vandalise bus shelters

 At least he's the villain I suppose. Still, I'm sure your own character is full of it too like previous Farcrys.

Although I loved Monkey Island and other Lucasarts adventures and they're 100% plot driven and have a quirky character. I suppose that's my point though. It's not strictly a "bad" thing it's just a completely different form of entertainment, more detached, and more movie than 'game'.

---

I can't pretend I'm not impressed by that Uncharted vid. As Ex_Mo says, it completely relies on graphics and you know the gameplay's going to be passive.

The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. I've been obsessed by trees recently for some strange reason and there are some hawt trees in that vid!

Yeah, never played it before. Might have done if I knew it was on Mac. I quite like it. Far too easy on anything below Legendary difficulty though. Lovely pixel art. I have it in the dot by dot mode.

The mac version was also fairly easy if memory serves. Still, if it has hard mode then I may drop some bucks on it. I could do with some shooty action on the TV.
If you're tempted to get the original Mac version, it doesn't work on Yosemite for me. I have emailed their support address but no reply so far.

I am praying to allah that the Darius Burst AC for PS4 rumour is true.

It will probably be the PSP version sexed up, but I can dream!

If it is officially announced, I will have to get a PS4!
