seriously :eh:
I used to be adamant about using 1 player panels for my solo shmupping needs, but honestly after a little while I also got comfortable playing on a 2 player panel. It’s nice to have a mix of 1 player and 2 player panels just in case a buddy comes over and fancies a little karate men :hinthint:

In my cab im currently running Gunbird2. Im quite embarrased to say that ive only recently discovered that it is a 3 button game, with the 3rd button being a melee attack. Ive just been playing it as a 2 button game ( shoot + bomb) Doh!

I know it's not the greatest game in the world, but it is definitley the game that took the most money out of mine and one of my mates pockets back in the early 90's...nostalgia reigns supreme...and it plays just as fun as I remembered! 8-)

To me, they're only as dead as Elvis! :awe:
Especially seeing as, literally five minutes ago, I just saw someone get perfect-plexed, and someone else get Gorilla Pressed.

And while we're on the subject...

I've also been having a go at modifying one of Franco's Voltmeter/Headphone adaptors in order to get some JAMMA mono audio into a Q-Sound amp. Even with some extra ohms of attenuation, it's still far too loud and has a background hiss (not hum/buzz) so I might give up on that.

Interestingly, even though the WrestleFest Manual states that pins 11/M are unsed, I had a quick test, and they are outputting right channel audio! :awe: I wonder how many other 'mono' JAMMA games are actually in stereo? I imagine the audio is probably identical to the left channel, but it's still better to run two speakers off two outputs, rather than two speakers of one output, surely!?

Could I find out simply by using Franco's headphone adaptor without the little mono splitter part?

I don't believe so, at least, not if it's the same as mine. It's only wired up for the left/mono channel - pins 10/L - which is all most games (I think/thought) ever use. A couple of extra wires and resistor could definitely be added to it though, save making any mods to the cab wiring.

Ta :)

There are various controllers, av leads and handheld chargers in the Lego heads, they're pretty handy for putting that clutter in.
