Re: Items spotted on Yahoo Japan Auctions
We were both wrong, it’s actually for a New Versus City.
The blast has a whole extra part on the bottom for the lower half the blast city billboard (where it says “SEGA BLAST CITY”), not just the game marquee area like the one in that auction.

Haha!
Sorry
I took the one off my Blast loads. I should've known really. It looks really similar
Big sillies.

Outbid in the end. Just as well really. YHA is so unpredictable. This time last year a similar panel just sat at 2000yen.moshpit wrote:Pony Panel http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/188093863"

Thunder Dragon 2 art/manual... 47k, looks like two proxy bidders.

Re: Items spotted on Yahoo Japan Auctions
I suppose I paid close to that (disregarding fees) for the one I have which is nowhere near as good and unpopulated.moshpit wrote:christ... 17500yen?!??!!
I'm far more annoyed I didn't get the one on Yahoo Auctions a year ago. I'm pretty sure it sat at starting price, which was something like 1000 or 2000.
On this one I bid 10,000 which I thought would be more than enough. I was already outbid by the time celga was going to place it. I raised it a bit too, but at 17,500 I'm out just out of stubbornness. I think I recognise one of the bidders and it's probably agent wars. When going through an agent it's all to tempting to go '****, I might as well secure it with an overbid'. I guess it's one of those up-and-downers. Maybe next time it'll be cheap.

Wow, I snapped up the art and instructions for 6650 Yen a couple of years ago (I have the auction pic saved on my desk top). I thought that was pricey!system11 wrote:Thunder Dragon 2 art/manual... 47k, looks like two proxy bidders.

I probably wouldn't buy one, but I'd love to see/play one of these Japan Operation Wolf cabs.

Re: Items spotted on Yahoo Japan Auctions
I'm on my phone and do have trouble with colours, but those look to me like white buttons that have yellowed and the balls have maybe been replaced more recently. I have both Sanwa and Seimitsu yellow buttons here and they are a much darker yellow than in that pic.cools wrote:That 2l12b settles it for stock colours, finally. White ball tops, p1 yellow, p2 red.

Re: Items spotted on Yahoo Japan Auctions
To me it looks like the yellow ones have faded, and the red ones have also lost some of the yellow colour mixed in, causing them to appear somewhat nasty.

Looking at it on a PC now that I'm in the office, I'm even more convinced that t6hose button plungers are white ones that have discoloured.

Of course the real way to prove otherwise is to buy the thing and clean the buttons

Same! I'm thinking the same lines as you now I'm on something with decent colour reproduction (not a phone).Devil Soundwave wrote:I'm on my phone and do have trouble with colours,

Let's wait for PubJoe to buy it then...
I had fun last night trying to bag up orange, vermillion and red buttons and balltops. I had to get my GF to separate them for me.

I'm going to have a bid but I'm not going too mental.
From my own experience I believe that shade of colour is known as 'nicotine white'. I'll give them a good hot bath if I win them.
