Re: NG: DEV.Team: Razion
Autumn 2014 seems like an aggressive ETA considering their track record. Initial vid and screens look promising though and I hope the DC port (if there is one) is executed a little better than the XYX port.

That looks right up my street. DO they have a rep for delays then?

Nice soundtrack and art (I especially like that last terminator boss).
Too bad I'm boycotting this company due to the NeoXYX on DC port quality.

It's only their loss. But they will surely sell all copies without a problem, their fan base doesn't seem to care about game quality, only NICE PACKAGING.Chempop wrote:Too bad I'm boycotting this company due to the NeoXYX on DC port quality.

I dunno. The Gamer's editions (no packaging) were first to sell out. €50 for a shockbox though.
I like it. OTT and shameless. First time I've been tempted by one of these.
I gather that you can usually get your money back if you want to play an NGD game for a few months and then sell on?

Adds to the irony, since the packaging is the "other" good quality about these titles (music being the main thing).pubjoe wrote:The Gamer's editions (no packaging) were first to sell out.

They really need to work on their color schemes, it's so lacking. Also, the sprite size ratios just look too big at the moment.

This one doesn't appeal so I'll pass. It's a shame to hear about the Neo XYX port problems because I think the MVS is great.

After a bit of internal back-and-forth I decided to jump into the fray one more time and pre-order this. I do like my hori shmups.

It's a hard decision to make off a 4 min video, on the fence still, it's the first time I have had a mvs at a pre order.

Re: NG: DEV.Team: Razion
looked at the trailer, looks like a rehash of dux and Pulstar. I think that the gameplay should be polished and unique than Dux, then I will be more interested.

...The giant mecha-fanny just after is remarkable too. And the sticky globules spraying around the next level.

Agree with that. Apart from that, the explosions look really meh and disappear very fast.Shou wrote:They really need to work on their color schemes, it's so lacking. Also, the sprite size ratios just look too big at the moment.
