Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
It's not expensive or rare but my most prized PCB is Shinobi. The PCB I own is the exact PCB I used to play as a 10 year old boy(o)in Big-Johns Videoshop in Newport back in 88'. PCBs come and go but this is one I have never sold since acquiring it in 97'

Muchi Muchi Pork £360
Futari £300

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
Ibara would probably be my most expensive PCB. Followed by Alien Versus Predator and maybe Pulstar. Most of my gear would hover around the €100-€150 value range. I do not like spending much more than that on a game as I've too many hobbies to fund

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
^ That's pretty awesome. There's your 'first one', ' one that got away', one you always wanted - got a couple of those myself... price is... whatever... boring imho - unless you scored something unexpected I suppose. But this kind of story is great; congrats on making it yours.Ex_Mosquito wrote:It's not expensive or rare but my most prized PCB is Shinobi. Pleasuregoal MVS for me (about £135). Very hard game to get. Other than that, few games about £90 to £100, The Simpson, AVP...

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
I don't have any particularly high value games, but I do like my R-Type, R-Type II and R-Type Leo boards. Feels good to have them all (Armed Police Unit Gallop doesn't count as it's a bit ****).
I even have a nice R-Type III and R-Type Final (which is a little dull), but no R-Type Δ (yet)...
I like my Splatterhouse too.
And Strider.

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
The PCB I payed most for, Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 500 EUR when it was peaking, now its around 300?
The planet Harriers setup I just bought ended up in the same region, around 400 EUR.
Love both games though so not too bummed about the prices.
I also have a Splatterhouse PCB which now thanks to Blomman is working SH was priced at 35k Y at MAK this summer so I think its also considered on the pricey side

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
I have an Akuu Gallet which I cleared, very proud of that since very few people have done it.
It could be pried from my hands for the right price, but I'd hate to see it sit on collectors shelf never to be played
DDP is never going anywhere however.

Prices of most games fluctuate over the years (some more than others), I also don't really care that most of my games have lost their value...the only thing that matters is that you've had fun with the game.RoZioN wrote:The PCB I payed most for, Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 500 EUR when it was peaking, now its around 300?

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
I basically agree, but it does kinda suck when something you spent big bucks on depreciates while others such as like Fireshark go from $50 to $500 in a few years time (if that happens to be a game you are after or sold back in the day. That's how collecting goes though, I wish I had a few years head start with my arcade addiction, but I'm also very happy to see a growing global interest in cabs and specifically shooters, even if that does mean that it hurts my wallet more.the only thing that matters is that you've had fun with the game.
It is odd how something like Galuda2 can plummet so hard, while Rade has stayed fairly steady, and other fluctuate up and down, or up, up , and UP to unreasonable prices. I hear DDP is $900 at japanese PCB shops currently.

Most Expensive one I've got is my Turtles in Time board. Don't really play it at all but I'm happy to own the nostalgia of those times I played it when I was young

Re: Most expensive / prized pcb
Most expensive progear, most prized, probably bombjack because my brother was always better at that game than me back in the day and finally over 20 years later I can score higher
