Recommend a good "desk top" monitor for me to check out

Post by Tyranix95 »

Hey guys,

I got an old 25" Dell monitor sitting on my desk, and I was thinking about getting a new/er one.

So, was kinda wondering: What kind of Flat Panel Displays are in the Viewlix and Delta 32 cabs?

Anybody got some specs on these?

Also, can anybody recommend a good "desk top" monitor for me to check out.

If I get another one, I'd like it to also be good for gaming.

Thanks!

I found this so far:

Vewlix-F: Sanwa T32H075(KA) (1080p maximum), Sharp build Panel.

Vewlix-L: GTT co. TLK-320Y (720p maximum)TWG co., Samung build Panel.

There's some chatter going on here about Vewlix monitors:

Are you thinking of buying a Vewlix monitor to use with your PC? I'm absolutely certain that you could just buy a modern TV or monitor that's both better and cheaper. I'm afraid I can't recommend any good ones though as I've not bought a new TV or desktop monitor for over 5 years :(

Thanks, I'll check it out.

No, not going to hook a Vewlix monitor up to my PC.

Just looking for specs for a benchmark

Yeah, I think it's about time I get something about 27"~32" on my desk.

And something not too shabby.

I'll sum it up.

My take:
Buy a PC monitor, not a TV. High resolution (1440p +), ips pannel.

Garg:
Uses a tv and has done for some time

If you plan on doing a combination of things, a TV may make sense. If its 90% for PC use / gaming 1-2' fro. The screen then get a proper monitor.
