Thanks for that man.

Wow, there are outputs for all of the buttons as well as a couple of cold cathodes and some RGB lamps.

I'm wondering if there was a separate light driver board for it, it will be a shame if there was.

Probably uses the type2 IO board as that has 22 outputs for lamps and such.

If cart gets dumped, should be easy to mod for net boot/CF card.

Shazaym! :awe: Thanks Andy.

Ah, I didn't even think to look at the type 2 IO. Yeah that looks like it could be it.

Can a type 2 IO be used for normal Naomi cart/CF games as well?

Aye indeed, type2 has dips to support different configs including rotary controllers.

Type3 has 20 outputs so might be ideal.

Ah, most awesome. So you would go for a Type 3 over a Type 2? I think I'll have to pick a Type 3 up from you, I see you have plenty in stock :)

@KmanSweden, have you already have an idea which "d-pad" buttons you're going to use?

Yeah, I found some 30x30x30mm iluminated triangular buttons in Denmark. Most other buttons are 42x42x42mm but I think that's too big for a "stock" panel.

Good stuff :awe:

I'm planning on going with square buttons and using some inserts like the ones on the Rhythm Tengoku cab.

Are you using rectangular inserts? I'm going to go with some round ones. I need to check but I think they're about 45mm. I got a screen grab of the CP and imported it into CAD and measured from there.

I still have no way of playing the game at the moment mind you :awe:

Why can't you play it?
Are the mame files not netbootable yet?

Huh, has this been dumped then? I don't believe I have the ROM for this, but I'd love to play it... assuming it works on a standard stick/buttons setup. Does it try to grab U/D/L/R as buttons?

It's totally playable with two buttons and a joystick.
However it's probably easier with buttons since you can't do up and down at the same time with a stick.

Don't expect a net boot version of this, you will need to find original cartridge, it's just not compatible with dimm boards.

Oh well, maybe one day. Although I'm guessing it's not easy to find.
