Was that the outrun inspired kickstarter from last year? Looked shiny sortof, but gameplay and handling looked poor as far as You can judge that sortof thing from Youtube movies

Yes. I wasn't overly interested last year. He has since hired Nikalis to take care of the programming - from which Tyrone has honestly made a great job of selling his ability to make it great.

Over at zavvi they seem to be having a 24-hour sale of some 3rd party Wii U games: LINK :awe:

If you haven't played it already, I'd recommend picking up Arkham City Armored Edition.
All the DLC is on the disc and despite being an afterthought, it uses the Gamepad is some really cool ways

Fingers...everything crossed that this will be good enough to fill the void I was left with when online Daytona finally died. :(

Tropical Freeze is out, in case you overlooked it what with Nintendo's stellar release schedule.

Just been playing DK Tropical Freeze this afternoon.

Not really been into the DK platform series (just never got around to playing).

Is it me or is the control method really cumbersome..... it feels really awkward to me.

It looks great but to me the gameplay is "off".
