Dear fellow arcadees,
I'm currently fixing a 19XX CPS2 gameboard that has taken a very bad beating from a leaking battery. The corrosion has destroyed
most solder joints and parts around the battery area, so I'm desperately looking to find the right values so I can buy replacements.
The parts I have to replace are:
D1: A diode that points out "B3". According to google it can be 6 different parts (Schottky, zener ....)
Can't really find what is soldered here but the joints need to be re-done due to corrosion so I would like
to completely switch out the part.
D2: A diode, too, but no clue what kind or value
D5: I suppose the same that should be on D1
CX: Some type of capcitor needs to go here. But what kind of value - I got no clue.
Any chance that anyone here knows what values those should have or what kind they should be?
Happy to hear from you guys,
greez,
- Max

CX.
The mobo revision determines if there are caps here or or not.
For example: the -7 has no caps here.

If you don't know what D5 is, then pull it from a parts board.
