Edit: SP can't win for me as it gave / would still give me hand cramps, proper claw type.
The backlit version has the same screen quality as the micro, only bigger.
So pretty awesome then.

I got friends at Nintendo Europe...they are embarassed big time!

Nintendo is becoming more and more like the company called Tiger in the 80-90s...

:palm:

This is to the 3DS what the Wii Mini is to the regular Wii. Gimped in terms of features, ugly as ****, not that much cheaper and nobody really wants it.

Nintendo really should look into making a phone.

Another confused grown up. Does he fill ten minutes talking about it?

I love how arstech reckons Nintendo didn't release their amazing idea (a tablet with a joypad) because it would be too revolutionary.

I quite like it :shifty:

Does look a bit awkward to hold though. Never wanted a headache from the 3d anyway

You can turn the 3D off on a 3DS.

Yes. If I could keep only one games console, it would be a SNES. Quite recently got an sd2snes. One of the best items I have ever bought. Put a single SD card in it holding every game ever dumped. Yarr.

Its pretty horrible, but we are not the target market. This is aimed at kids, young kids, pure and simple. Just look on ebay for a DS/DSI/3DS and the amount that are broken through kids breaking the hindge between the two parts of the console is huge. Plus parents on here will know how parents are targeted with marketing on whats best and really no good for your little ones, the very fact that Nintendo itself puts warnings regarding duration of play in 3D mode and the negative affects on eyes is a major turn off for parents. Clearly someone at Nintendo felt strongly enough about it to claim this 2D version would solve these problems and reclaim some of the market.
