Re: Seating
These pub stool I tracked down are awesome. Seriously comfortable. They weight an absolute ton because of the cast iron bases though so you couldn't really just tuck one under your arm after a night in the local unfortunately

Re: Seating
I was in BHS yesterday and spotted these:
BHS Single round stool
BHS Double Stool
I found the double stool more comfortable for my large ****, both were about perfect height wise.

Re: what stool
I purchased some regular meeting room chairs they were just a tad too high.
When i first started out i did loads of research into stools trying to track down the traditional ones, two types stood out for me
1. when i first saw them they had capcom stickers on and were called the capcom egg 45cm tall which is deece and fit in nicely with candies
http://www.atlanticshopping.co.uk/bar-s ... white.html
2. By far the most practical is the drum throne. Height is adjustable, they are designed to be sat on for a decent amount of time and can be purchased cheaply.

Also hello fellow kent resident!

Re: what stool
I have Ikea Julius bar stools that I cut the legs off to get the perfect height.
If you like back support, Ikea's Jeff chairs are very nice and also very cheap.

Re: what stool
I dunno what the big fuss is over the 'real' ones, they are scabby, old, uncomfortable, overpriced and just plain dull IMO.geotrig wrote:i have one of those cheapy stools for €14 from ikea http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/90109312/ and a camping stool not really bothered or pushed about the "real" ones tbh

Re: what stool
I've always liked the Japan game centre ones, and I can vouch for the 'Rocketstools'. The service is excellent and the stools are comfortable and very good quality. The only thing is they are a touch lower than the Japanese stools.

Perfect height. I paid 9.99€ for mine but they are 12.99€ now.
Wanted: SNK Candy 18 spares. Mainly looking for a marquee holder & the "video games" sign.
