The Last Naomi Game
Maybe this is a simple question, maybe its not. I was just curious as to what was the last manufactured Naomi game and was it (graphically) the best game?

Re: The Last Naomi Game
Idas3 or vf4ft would be my guess, altho in not sure if any independent software houses released anything for Naomi....
Certainly those two look much better than a lot of the older stuff.

Sega released Dynamite Deka EX on N1 two years after VF4FT (which may have been the last N2 title at least)Spectre wrote:Idas3 or vf4ft would be my guess, altho in not sure if any independent software houses released anything for Naomi....

I'm pretty sure it was a crappy Mickey Mouse dancing game in 2008.
EDIT: it's called Disney Magical Dance

Pretty sure it got cancelled and came out on the Wii instead.DandySephy wrote:Except Radirgy Noa came out mid 2009

Same thing happened to Project Cerberus.
EDIT: Stands corrected, it did come out on Naomi cart.
Looks like there was a MushiKing released after Radirgy Noa.

Re: The Last Naomi Game
Essentially the last proper release was VF4FT. Dynamite Deka EX is a rehash of a 1996 release (great game tho, good fun), Radirgy Noa is a **** 3rd party vert shooter and Mushiking is a kids card redemption game with about a billion different versions.
I would also argue that VF4FT has the "best" graphics. It doesn't look too shabby at all, even by todays standards

Re: The Last Naomi Game
That's pretty odd logic. I don't really follow that the clear sequel is somehow less 'proper' than a second remix of a game (which came out on N2, a platform that died years before N1).

Re: The Last Naomi Game
Evo and FT are separate games in their own right, they aren't capcom-esque remixes. Dynamite Deka EX looks like **** late 90s 3d which has been suped up slightly, wouldn't be surprised if it uses the same engine as the original.
Anyway, it's just an opinion, the facts appear to be that Mushiking tkob ver 999999 was the last manufactured Naomi game unless anyone knows better.

Re: The Last Naomi Game
I'm not going to argue that Mushiking or any of its similar titles like Dinosaur king are not the final releases but I'm sure that there are some japan only doujin releases on Noami that came out around the same time, mostly fighters, can't recall names though. Best graphics on cart, I'd have to say Zero Gunner 2 trumps the VF games...
