Well, if I'm not allowed Vampire Savior etc. or Marvel Super Heroes, then I guess Zero 2 and SSFIIX.

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
It "feels" faster than ST and less glitchy. Even without the older SF characters, much better game than SSF2x.ninn wrote:Are there differences between Hyper and SSF2X? I saw a site once, that explained every single difference, but I am talking about gameplay with friends. Any got experience?
I'd like to own Hyper (feature-wise) or Turbo (personal, favourite version, cheap).
Reasons I prefer Plain-Vanilla-Turbo:
The background-graphics are the best and started to degrade since then. I got no idea why the removed the phantastic sunsets at blanka- or guile-stage. This hurts every time I see them.
I rarely use the new characters, and except for cammys stage, their stages are boring too.
Anyway, I am missing a 2l12b-panel ...
If I find one, I will get a SF2 as soon as possible to beat my girl.
She knows how to execute the dragon punch and can utilize it very well.
+1 for VS It's pretty much ST anyway.gundarN wrote:Well, if I'm not allowed Vampire Savior etc. or Marvel Super Heroes, then I guess Zero 2 and SSFIIX.

Street Fighter 2 Turbo has always been my favourite. Played it so much on the SNES and in the arcade, and now my own PCB

Super Turbo - Crowd fav, even if you're die-hard Hyper player, you'll still play Turbo and just bitch about how if this was Hyper, you'd be beasting.
Alpha 2/3 - I like 2 for the less complex mechanics but the crowd wants 3. I got both.
No love for 3S only because I'm no good at it. As soon as CPS3 is broke, I'm sure I'll have it...again for the crowd.

I think 3s is the most fun, but SSF2X is my most played and therefore my number 1
As I have no competition I never play HSF2A. The CPU is painfully cheap / hard

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
Super Turbo/SF2x for me. Masterpiece of a game. I much prefer the sound effects and music of the CPS1 version, everything just sounds more 'beefy' and satisfying, but the gameplay is undoubtably superior on ST.

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
Wow, really suprised that Zero/Alpha 3 and SSFIV were not more popular. Oh well, I definately wont take ANY sf2 choice away from anyone, sf3 though - I never was a massive fan of that series compared to the rest. I do agree that the anouncment speech is pretty gay in Z/A3, but I think the games good enough to discard that.
So it seems the majority vote is SSF2T/X. Any lovers of that game played the HD remix version?

I liked Zero3 too.
But when I wanted to beat some friends, they prefered (any version) of the Original.

HD remix doesn't count as an SF game. It's a redrawn pile of ****.ninjawyatt wrote:Any lovers of that game played the HD remix version?

SSF2X - I've alyways liked it the most, this was the version me and my friends played the most. But truth is, that I've always been attracted more by snk's fighting games.

SSF2X
I feel like the game mechanics and introduction of the super were perfect but not to complicated to understand. Plus the super combo finishes are awesome!
Also, there are usually people to play locally (depending where your from), online play, and abundance of info/strategies.

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
I´m a vanilla kind of a guy.
I can live with Champion Edition or Hyper Fighting. Nothing wrong with World Warrior either.
I´m a big fan of the SNES version. I have just purchased the CPS PCB though and I am waiting to receive it

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
I like SF2 Hyper Fighting the best, best balance in my opinion. Super turbo is a close second.
Hyper Anniversary is cool but it is filled with so many glitches. They messed up Vegas Super Izuna drop, Super Turbo characters cannot tech against non super turbo characters, and a few others.
Here is some good information it

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
I do like equally :
- Street Fighter II: Champion Edition (SFII' in Japan) because it is the one I played the most in my childhood on Snes.
- Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers for the magnificient INTRO with Ryu and his hadoken direct to us directly and also for the beautiful sets of Fei-Long and Cammy.

Re: Super Hyper Street Fighter Twin Turbo Champion Edition
Street Fighter II World Warriors will always be my favorite, even knowing how superior Super X and 3rd Strike are. I guess it's all based on the impact the game had on me. No other fighting game - and I mean before and ever since - had the same impact, even the other ones in the SF series; love them all, but was always more of the same, a smooth evolution. Street Fighter II World Warriors established what we still play and love today, and to me it will always be on top.
...but that HD Remix looks $#!++¥, I think (and hope) you were reffering to this:
Much more like it.
I remember seeing pics of the Super intro in the magazines and going "woah..." - then in person, falling in love.Bababaloo wrote:- Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers for the magnificient INTRO with Ryu and his hadoken direct to us directly
