Addams Family Pinball

Post by tyranid »

I know, slightly off topic from the usual arcade stuff but still :)

Was wondering if anyone happened to know the rough sort of price you should expect to pay for a reasonable condition Addams Family Pinball table (i.e. 100% working if not perfect condition wise). Thinking this year might be the year I blow money on something I have wanted for years and years :)

Also anyone know anyone know any good pinball dealers in the UK which might be able to find/supply one. I know I can check ebay (in fact there is one on there atm if I recall) but no doubt I won't win that one...

Check on the UK Pinball list, or get in touch with Pinballers Anonymous.

TAF is a 1k machine most of the time.

AFM = Attack from Mars
TAF = The Addams Family
:D

You should expect to pay around £1500 for a nice Addams Family. Maybe around £1k for an OKish one and over £2k for something spectacular (brand new playfield/new artwork etc). I sold a completely scrap one for £800 and had 2 guys fighting to get it first - madness! If I could find enough Addams then I'd be doing it for a living - it's the one that everyone remembers from the pubs way back when. They're actually cheaper around Christmas time as so many people put them on ebay and the market gets flooded.

I have one that stands me at £1100 if anyone is interested. The playfield is good apart from some lines through the orange 'power' section on one side - I have an overlay to cover this (opinions on the overlays vary). It needs a new ramp (I have an original smoked ramp for £100 or you can buy new clear ones from America - although normally unpopulated). It needs new coach bolts that hold the hinges that hold the head to the body. Potentially a nice piece, but not something I could sell to a noob as-is and I have zero motivation at the moment to do it myself.

The UK Pinball Group is on yahoo, Pinballers Anonymous is my mob.
