Marvel Vs Capcom - Region Differences?

Is there any notable regional differences in Marvel VS Capcom besides different character names? Just set it up in my NAC and want to set it to the best region.

other than the ovbious language i dont think there is any. only one which had a huge difrence is marvel super heroes vs Street fighter with featured Normario the marvel and capcom otaku who was only in the Japanese version

There is no difference other than language and character names between regions in Marvel vs. Capcom as far as I can tell.

There is also very little difference between regions in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.

Norimaro can be enabled in any non-Japanese region by changing a single byte which serves as a setting flag (offset 0xCC in ROM 03: Value 0x00 = Norimaro disabled, 0x01 = Norimaro enabled). This works on a board whether it is phoenixed or encrypted, as the flag is in a non-encrypted data region.

He actually has English language sprites too:
