Yeah, that is the one I am looking at, just wondered what sort of price is good for a Naomi Universal Cabinet.

I have seen this thread...

http://www.sega-naomi.com/forum/viewtop ... 5359#25359

http://www.sega-naomi.com/forum/viewtop ... 5380#25380

And they are saying around £100 - £150...
That makes the above sale a little over priced.

Depends on condition really, if its in decent condition £250's a fair price with a mobo aswell, i'd expect a wreck for £100-150 but you might get lucky if you wait long enough, unless they're mint they don't hold alot of worth.

£100 is trade price - you have to be in the trade to get these kind of deals - and also generally buy other stock..

I sold a complete Naomi cab for £50 last year - to prove it can be done.. But as a rule private sales £250 is the average..
Say hello to my little friend...

Will do the ones I'm vaguely confident on.

£20ish - Gundam vs Zeon DX – Disc + Chip
£30+ Capcom Vs SNK 2 - Disc + Chip
£40+ Street Fighter Zero3 Upper - Disc + Chip + Manual + Original Move List Stickers
£40 Initial D - Disc + Chip
£25 Virtua Tennis - Disc + Chip
Sega Naomi 2 Motherboard + GD Rom - Is this the full setup including dimm? If so which dimm board. £110 / £60+ as it stands I think. Non-net (gd-rom) dimm around £40.
£40 Outrigger Cart

£30+ Tekken 4 Disc + Chip
£20 - Z Gundam Disc + Chip

I saw a b-board alone sell recently, and quite quickly, for $155, so I assume $150 - $170 depending on condition. Add the a-board for an additional $20 - $30??

Been WAY out of my league for 5 or 6 years now, but it's still on my most wanted list.

The Japan price has just dropped from ¥15,000 to ¥13,000 in 2011 but I wouldn't expect to see that kind of money in the west.

This board is worth around £125gbp (before shipping) and hasn't dropped in price for the last 6 years (much to my disappointment).

HTH

Cheers,

Ralph.

If it works, I'll go out on a limb and say somewhere in the region of $350-$400usd before shipping.

Here's a Japanese one: http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b117023730"

If it hans't been already, I'd look at changing the battery too to protect your investment.

Cool, thanks for the info, Ralph. I've already ordered a new CPS2 battery. I opened it up last night and the inside looks different from all of the Progear PCB pictures I've seen on the internet. There is no daughter board like the one shown here: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_eMti2g5RHlo/T ... ar+PCB.JPG" .

I'm almost certain that it's not a boot, because it had never been opened before. I had to puncture the capcom seals to access the bolts to open the case, and it has the suicide battery. Has anyone else ever seen a legit Progear without the daughter board and CPS3 memory SIMMs?
