Coin Mechs and Japanese Machines

Post by Ringtail »

I may have a couple of Japanese dedicated Music cabs coming in the few weeks and i've been lead to believe they all use mechanical mechs over there, is it easy to add an electronic mech to these machines or are we better just grabbing a couple of 50p mechs?

I'd say latter since it is just an easy swap but you know - almost everything can be done ;)

You may find that space is the issue. I'm not sure whether you'll find an electronic coin mech to drop straight in, but you might be able to get hold of a cradale as well. something like a NAOMI UK coin mech could do the trick.

Ralph.

The SR3 coin mech for example is the same size as a normal mechanical one. You just have to fit the credit board somewhere...
