Jamma Box to Xbox 360?

Post by childsremix »

I'm new to the forums so forgive if this is in the wrong section. I got a Sega Astro City 2 a week ago and I want to be able to play my xbox 360 on it. Does anyone know of a simple way of getting my xbox 360 video connected to my monitor? I thought of buying on of those $50 converters but it seems opinions vary wildly with them. Any ideas?

If you're cool with a soldering iron you could knock up an LM1881 circuit. You'd need to buy/splice an xbox360 RGB cable.

Here is a really good solution: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28069"

They're currently sold out, but a new batch is on the way (hopefully soon) and you can put out a want-ad for a second hand unit if you don't want to wait. :awe:

Those viletim boards look like a great solution for consoles in cabs the audio amp and JPN RGB21 are nice bonuses too.

Do you use the terminal blocks for the controls or the JAMMA pass through?

Edit, you can use either. :awe:

Yes, along with one or two of the upcoming Akihabarashop PS360 PCBs you'll have a complete solution, controls and everything.
