At least be thankful that's one of the most common high end 15k chassis;
It could've been worse and you could've been stuck trying to find some obscure toei chassis that no one has (oh wait that sounds a lot like what's in my pop'n music machine and took a year and a half to find )

Apparently the original for the cabinet was a Toei, so i'm even more thankful for Richy13 now

Chance of finding that is like zero; toei only made chassis on a to order basis, so in other words each model toei chassis is used in like a whopping 2 cabinets.
In my case, I needed a TC-L292K (k stands for konami custom).
To get it, I had to:

Pay 500 usd AND trade a nanao ms2931
Drive 500 miles to pick it up
Destroy a beatmania cabinet
Drive home with monitor in trunk
Have chassis repaired by Joey for 200usd

Was worth it though

Cleaning out the inside a little this afternoon I had a good look around at the cabling inside. the coin mech, a C120, is installed, but it's ribbon cable goes nowhere, hanging in the cabinet. The player 1 coin is hooked up to a button that's hidden behind the front panel. I saw this topic where it's suggest getting a cheap klingon credit board. The poster actually had a coin mech, are coin mech's any cheaper? Trying to save as much "coin" here as possible

2 options,
install a s5 type mechanical mech if you have the correct cradle and switch in place
install a credit board like a klingon

The 3 bolts on the side hold the wooden board that the monitor chassis is screwed onto (on mine anyway)

I like the 2 tone cabs, but think that white is the way to go.

I think grey was the original colour???

X:Men I hate you, but i've never been so happy to see you After months of working overtime, I finally got the time to sit down and install the Chassis that Richy13 sent me (with the advice of grantspain and dj_johnnyg on hand). I powered the cabinet up with little expectation (due to my lack of knowledge) and what do you know, first time lucky. Colours need some adjusting but otherwise it looks great.

Still, the journey's not over yet. The chassis is installed on a table that's sitting half way in the back of the cabinet, as this replacement chassis doesn't fit where the previous one did. Something to sort out in the coming days for sure.

one problem disappears, another comes - I've got some wacky voltages going on. With X-Men running, reading from the JAMMA connector, the 5v's appear as 4.85v, and the 12v appears as 15.71v. The game runs fine, no faults. I tried a MVS, along with Ibara, they both ran, but the speaker in the cabinet sputtered - it sounded like it was turning off and on, so I switched back to X-Men to see if it was a newly developed problem, or game specific, and it turns out it's game specific.

Do I want to crank the 4.85v to 5v? Will that push the 12v up further? Is there anything I can do about the 12v?
Otherwise i'll replace the PSU.

Managed to get the chassis inside the cabinet by hacking a short shelf in half It ain't pretty but it's functional, and with a nosey chihuahua and cat in the house, it's a lot safer that way.
Replacement PSU hasn't arrived just yet, but I got another game working regardless, see if you can guess what it is My partner got a new fluro tube for the cabinet today. Great to have the marquee lit up, but it does show up some scratches which I can do little about.

Ive got that cab finally and the lock for the coindoor is missing, the hole on mine is oneside flat 28x22mm. can you owners of the cab check yours and mayme make some pictures or point me to a place i can get hold of such a lock.
