Marvel vs capcom 3

Ok a few weeks back team spooky posted some stuff saying that Marvel vs capcom may be about to be anounced. one of the places was SRK who took the post down and banned the user posting it (odd much?) so it seems that the capcom haiwaii event is happening and the editor of Marvel.com is on a busines trip in haiwaii at the same time of the event. Capcom has released letters to people asking them not to say anything about anything. But this is all adding up to tha fact that its looking more and more likley that Marvel Vs Capcom 3 could be happening.

Ok so these guys are some random site but they are the first people to announce a full character list for the game SSFIV a good few weeks before even adon and cody were announced. Which is all very good signs that this is infact happening ! ! !

Who do you guys want to see in the game then?
Would be nice to get a nice braod range of Capcom character in the game not just fighting game characters. My money would be on the 2D play 3D graphics which would mean quick chartacter creation which means lots of characters!

Capcom and SNK are still on good terms over in JP (last time i checked anyway) I would be surprised if we did not hear something in the next year or so in the way of a cross over of some sort.

Safe to say capcom wont be doing anymore 2D fighters in the near future. Its way too easy to make 3D graphics over 2D.

It's a good idea I hope Capcom goes along with it. MVC2 is sickly popular here in the states. I have 7 MVC2 cabs running at my arcade.
I'm not a huge fan of the series but it's a good investment for any operator if it makes it to arcade before console.

I agree with Munchies though... I really want a CVS3... for me Capcom, please for me <3

It should be forbidden to make sequels of 2D games and make them 3D.
Street Fighter IV is not even Street Fighter IV.
It´s Street Fighter EX-IV or something.
Although they could do some huge special moves with Hulk do, like ripping the floor as a projectile, that will be interesting to see.
Nevertheless a definite non-buy. cries.
I played Sengoku Basara X yesterday, the cheap best buy version is out for like 20 euro´s. Loved it.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 sounds like a dream to me too, I´m not a hater, but to me this is like giving a dead bird to a blind 5 year old girl.
*but didn´t they say that about Street Fighter IV as well in the beginning?
If mvc3 would be 2D, well it also could suck offcourse, but I would keep my hopes up until I could play it. Now dreams are shattered.

Instead Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will run on an "advanced version" of MT Framework, the same engine that powers the graphics of Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5.

Haven't seen Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5, do they suck like SFIV ?
