Sykes the english bull terrier, snuffed it about 5 years ago at the very grand old age of 16

and

Ted the triops, lived for nearly four months (20-90 days is the usual life-span)!

I guess I must be good at looking after my pets! We only have sea monkeys at the moment, but are weighing up what "proper" pets to get when we move to a bigger place this autumn.

Corn only got it last Sunday, but this evening was much tamer when I was handling it, just needed to settle in I guess.

Yeah i've had Corns myself a few years ago, he's a decent size few years old by the looks of it, they can be a bit cagey for a week or 2 when they've been uprooted.
looks like hes gonna shed soon too :awe: might be why hes a bit cagey.

Woah, serious algae problem there! You need to keep attacking it or it'll really affect the amount of light and heat that gets into the tank. I use a desk lamp 24/7 to heat the tank, this is especially important while they're tiny but if the tank gets below 22 degrees for any period of time even adult triops will rapidly slow down and then die :(

The £15 "aquasaurs" set that comes with a flimsy tank actually does a really good job as it's easy to clean and keep warm.

Aren't Sea Monkeys just plain cheap Artemia brine shrimp I bred by the millions to feed my just hatched fish when I had a small Killy Fish breeding farm ?

Sea Monkeys it's like selling Horse Fly s as Little wonder Elves

Haha, when they didn't hatch I just left the tub to see what would happen, and that was the result :awe:
