It's a good thing that doing modern consoles are a more viable path than keeping on with Neo Geo, which is 30 years old (no offense intended).

Might pick that up one day.

Amazing how much less exciting it is without the whiff of superiority that a Neo Geo cart gives you.

Looks decent enough, but haven't been a fan of their previous stuff. Well, aside from the art and music. Kinda sad to see them move away from their whole Neo Geo gimmick, but I get it.

There they go again with that stupid bland Eurotrance ****. I hate to be so negative (the graphics look really nice, and I'm a fan of bullet hell shooters), but 1. that kind of music screams Euroshmup, and 2. since it's so generic, it won't give your game a unique vibe at all. I have no idea why devs insist on using such a shallow and vapid genre of music anyway...

Yeah music is generic as hell, as are the characters on the logo screen. Game itself looks fun and i like ngdev's focus on getting things running at 60fps even back in the day when noone even batted an eye when games ran in 20-30 fps.

Looks very cool actually, if still pretty generic. Music's much improved, too.

I’ll give it a shot…

First look of Crimzon Clover appears pretty generic. In fact, it’s pretty much deliberately so. The little I’ve played though is great, and the reviews/community sentiment is very good.

It’s a bit strong to say I’m a ‘fan’ of NG Dev, but I really enjoy Fast Striker on the MVS, and I have a much more favourable opinion than most on Kraut Buster too…

Apparently the demo is out on Steam.

The bloke from Electric Underground rates it… so that’s a decent sign

Someone already cleared it within 24 hours of release?

Maybe it's too easy? (I don't complain though, i'm just a filthy casual).

This doesn't make any sense... why would you want your game to be generic?

...wat??

Surely youre thinking of another game here? Crimzon clover is proboably the most over-the-top audiovisual experience i can think of?

Gunvein looks more generic but seems like a solid effort in an age when generic can be seen as praise from a substandard norm.. (yeah im old and grumpy)..

LOL… I’ll be honest, I don’t recall making this post, and on reading it I’m not entirely sure what I was getting at?!

There’s a chance I was drunk and talking ****, but looks like it was posted at half seven so probably not.

Is this still coming to PS4? I played the hell out of Fast Striker on the Dreamcast. This actually looks brilliant, like a mix of Crimzon Clover and DFK
