They’ve actually done a pretty good job with this! Rab Florence is a great choice and Trevor MacDonald is a good sport.

 Predictably woke but they all know their stuff so I’m all for that. They’ve not made the same mistakes as go8bit. I hope it’s a success so they can bring in bigger names. I’d love to see them give Limmy a segment of some sort as well. He’d fit right in.

I used to buy the magazine back in the day, loved that. Was it a show too back then?

Rab Florence is :awe: I’m not sure how well it will translate south of the border, but if you like him, try “the scotts” on iPlayer, it’s Florence and Connelly’s latest.

They are they best comedy writers scotland currently has. It’s great to see rab Florence land games master. I get the impression Florence is the gamer of the two, but they are so good together I’d like to see Connell involved more than anyone else.

The show spawned the magazine.

And here I thought we don't celebrate thanksgiving here.

I am thankful that I am not British enough.

Tbh I remember the disappointment when it originally aired. First I was annoyed by the minimal games footage (which is the only thing I wanted to see), then I was annoyed that they never really got any actually good players on. I still watched it anyway and grew to accept it for what it was, which I guess is a format they could get the TV producers to agree to. And it's not like there was much other choice.

I have nostalgia for it now and I liked going on YouTube a while back and seeing the highlights of Dominic Diamond treating the Games Animal like an absolute ****.
