Side note, that new 8bitdo arcade stick seem pretty sweet. I've eyed it for some time now.

Oops.

Looks like LS32 would sit too low.

I think that’s why I sold my Sega stick I couldn’t get an LS32 in it.

Now I have a few of the Hori sticks, the LS32’s fit straight in.

Mine has an LS-56. I could feel it barely scratching the bottom plate. So nem made a shallow recess in the plate. LS-32 appears to be a few mm shorter so it should work. You might need to use a different mounting plate.

EDIT: Oops, it was the other way around. You need to grind down a proper recess for the LS-32.

LS32-02 dropped straight into the 8bitdo v3 stick. It’s not perfect, but for the money it’s a great stick. Wireless and LS32, what’s not to like

Is that the latest version? Then I really need to consider buying one.

Mine is an earlier revision. LS32 doesn't quite fit - the metal weight would need cutting and the bottom shell thinning slightly.

IMO it would be better if it was 6 buttons and the stick was shifted to the right by an inch. The top two 24mm buttons are macros, they can’t, afaik, be mapped, so they could have been buttons 7+8

That’s my main criticism, but I still say it’s gr8te m8te

I'd like it to have more space or a slope in the palm area, resting on the leading edge gets uncomfortable after a while. Other than that it's great. Far better with quality controls in.

Or I could swap AB to the top row...

The Sanwa I used above were only a stop gap, borrowed from my Lindbergh.

AWUK are out of stock of most Sanwa colours, so I went with Seimitsu. Needed to shave a bit of plastic from some mounting holes so they'd click home but nothing too terrible.

Not sure why R and L buttons are reversed on this stick?
