Maybe they re-introduced the concept to the mainstream... because tv plug ins cheapo thingies have been around for around 20 years+ and tiny scale arcade replicas predate Nintendo’s NES classic.

It's not very mini either, it's a square foot. It's the viewing angle that boggles the mind.

Just need a shoulder harness (sold separately) to keep it at eye level. No big deal.

multiplayer's possible via either an optional "Retro Station Fightstick" or a wireless "PvP Dongle" that connects two units
I'm looking forward to this getting hacked, and seeing a video of 8 player Street Fighter Tournament Battle...
Everyone can then play pass the parcel at the end of each fight, rather thyan having to swap seats :awe:

I don’t know why but I ... don’t hate it. I’m sorry.

From one of those pictures I assumed the joystick was detachable. It’s pretty **** if it’s fixed in that position though. Seeing the stand-alone stick I just assumed it detached until I zoomed in to try and see joins just now. That’s a pretty interesting CRT style glass front too. It’s so bizarre. I’ll never buy one, but I’m kinda happy it exists.

I only hate if if the screen angle is fixed.

From the look of it there's a 50/50 chance it's movable to some extent, in which case it'd be alright.

Would go nicely next to the Capcom home arcade :D although I'm sure just like all these type of products they are just for collectors to look at once in a while.

The killer is 1024x768. If they get their scaling and scanline filter right it *could* look decent since it's only 8".
