Re: PS5
Wondering what the chances of picking up a digital version before Christmas are. I'm not in a rush, but you know - retail therapy and that

Re: PS5
Any good games on it?
I would like a brand new console.
I ended up eventually buying a PS4 last year and only bought KOF97, Ketsui and Samurai shodown.

Re: PS5
Ketsui only runs properly in 1080p on PS5.

Re: PS5
I think only the initial preorders and November batches are sold out. It would be crazy not to have a December batch for Christmas online and off... But all those will sell out too if you don't "rush".
Amazon have been the most reliable for stock, though like all other sites, sell out in 15 minutes...
They have said that there will be a restock tomorrow 19th at 12pm.

Re: PS5
I actually thought this was out for the last month already didnt realise it was out today !!! ....seeing all the carnage on low people going mad as no available stock is laughable at times probably been driven by the need for a a new console to play fifa 2020 no crowd edition

<trk>:I remember catching a big fat one and my friend said "throw it back in, that one already tastes like wood"

Re: PS5
I had to wait in the queue for 48 minutes and when I cleared it was able to get one on nov 19 on the PlayStation site . To anyone that’s trying to get one attempt it at 4-5 pm like I did . Don’t forget to sign in with your gamer tag for free shipping.
With the queues and anti bot captcha authentication I think this way is effective. I’ve been trying since pre orders started and was unable to find one. I heard this method from YouTube.
Report back here if successful so we can gauge if the method is effective .

Re: PS5
Okay... The PS5 is actually not as big as the unveilings led me/us to believe... It seems the size is quite acceptable. The dismantle video guy must have been the size of a 12 year old or something.... Because it looked massive there, granted angles and such. I’ve placed a 180g bag of Doritos to compare. However... the console is very heavy like PS3 fat heavy. Oh yeah, it’s also not as strange looking in the flesh...
The mat finish on the shell is like high quality toy plastic with a leathery texture...
The PS buttons icons indents on the controller can’t really be seen with the naked eye... had to do a close up with the phone. It feels very premium in the hand and that too is kinda heavy compared to past controllers.
Here’s some pics.

It's sad to see that the evolution of home gaming is once again a box under the telly
