Discovered that a game studio is making a 4 player beat-em-up game for various home consoles and PC, with Switch being a stretch goal. This one seems to be Japanese mythology inspired, including yokai.

Also, one of the highest tier offers is an arcade cabinet with custom artwork for viewlix models.
I wish I had the money, but I am glad there are plenty of arcade fans around the world, especially the developers behind Jitsu Squad.

Looks great. I'm a sucker for belt brawlers and I'm digging the character design, lots of Samurai Spirits in there.

Re: Jitsu Squad Kickstarter
Just a heads up: got a notification today that this will come back to kickstarter in January. The graphics in this one look wonderful, I could see this as an Exa exclusive.

Re: Jitsu Squad Kickstarter
Haven't played much but
+ technically seems pretty solid, low system requirements
+ feels very arcadey and polished
+ pretty complete for a demo in options, scanline options etc
+ music seems pretty fitting
+ it seems like we'll be able to spend $2k on this for the PS5-beating arcade platform of choice
- moveset seems limited
- i'm missing some depth-perception that a lot of similar games have, i find it hard to judge on what plane enemies are
- seeing this makes me regret calling SoR4 a macromedia game. Scanlines make it sortof bearable but i'm hoping for other or more options in the graphics department
- We'll have to endure more of JBRPG's posts when the $2k versions does come out.
