That's annoying, IIX mode is the part of this release I was most excited for.

Sounds pretty arcade-accurate :awe:

DS2 is a great game but unfortunately very few people have experienced it with correct slowdown. It does look like absolute dog **** though.

Can confirm as EOJ has said. Got my PS4 copy today and keep dropping silly lives on IIX because I'm expecting it to slow down. It makes that run before the Stage D boss proper difficult as well if you're playing for score.

Not convinced the last pattern of the Tree Boss is the correct speed on DS1, feels a little quicker than the arcade version, but I'd need to dig my PCB out to check.

SPE says the Switch version of DSMBL 1.1 is missing a lot of the slowdown of the X360 original. The same run on both systems is 7 minutes faster on Switch, due to this.

I am less bothered with playing MBL.

Be nice if it was all patched for the EUR release though

The slowdown is wrong. It makes the game really difficult. Might not be as much of an issue if you’ve never played the 360 version though.

How wrong is it? Got my Switch copy today and it feels close to how I know the 360 one, at least on the difficulty I play at.

There’s a massive difference on PS4, someone did say Switch was closer. Here’s a vid I did in probably the heaviest prolonged slowdown in the game:

Switch is better than PS4 but still not close to 360.

Overall package is great though, plenty playable, minimal load times and English subtitles :)
