Makes me really want to buy a PS2 to play that Sega Rally port again. Can’t believe that was wasted as a pack-in with the **** Sega Rally ever.

I’ve never played it. I didn’t realise they made fantasy zone 2 on model 16 hardware I assumed it was an unreleased / proto that they ported.
Self funded i really hope we see all the shmups on switch

Good Grief, I really didn't know much about M2, but bloody hell they are amazing!
Can't believe what they did for Fantasy Zone II, and knew nothing about the GIGA DRIVE project, really will have to get that SEGA RALLY game too, jeez so much I need to check out. I will probably also re-watch this docu a few times too.

Re: M2: Complete Works Documentary
M2 are ace and all the ports they did in the PS2 era are musts.
I really wish they would do the same for the PS4 the PS3 was a bit neglected by them.

Re: M2: Complete Works Documentary
Hearing about the PS2 shenanigans they had to do to get SPACE HARRIER running (using the PS1 processor to run the sound and music), makes me wonder if ARIKA tried such a trick when they were trying to get Ketsui on the PS2.
Apparently ARIKA had 4 stages up and running, but were unable to get all of stage 5 down, because the scrolling reverses half way through, and apparently there was insufficient RAM and processing power to do this (without I guess reloading the level mid stage).
After learning about the skills of M2, no doubt they would have not only got the 5th Stage running, but they would designed an extra bonus stage that scrolls horizontally half way though.
