PS mini= Uninspired jaggies...

I think plugging that into my 4K tv would most likely give it a few dead pixels the size of poptarts.

I've got a PS3 and Vita loaded with PS1 games. No need for this toy.

To say something positive, I'm glad games like Battle Arena Toshinden, Jumping Flash! and Twisted Metal haven't been forgotten.

But I can't spend about 100 Kombat Kredits for a system where most of the games are not my kup of tea. And I don't even own anything that accepts HDMI.

agree the selection isnt the worst and covers most of the big sellers on the system to be fair it was never going to keep everyone happy ....but for me i own most of them still and anything i dont probably can be picked up for alot less than a ton or not worth picking up !

I have a dedicated PS1/PS2 setup right next to my cab. So buying this makes no sense... buuut I'd love to get a hold of one or two of those controllers, if the quality is up to par with what Nintendo has been producing for their "new" systems.

Also i see a lot of people bemoaning the lack of dual shock, :eh: To me that would have been later in the ps's life anyway so not a great shame

Toshinden is my standout PSX memory. I'd be glued to the demo stand in Toys 'R' Us.

The preloaded game list appears to be "best sellers" rather than fan favourites.

I've no interest in it at all - I truly hate all iterations of the Playstation controller, which has always kept me away from the systems. "Preloaded" is an interesting term. Wonder if they're going to have a Memory Stick slot on there and sell more titles in future.

Probably they are bound to still have tons of stock of memory card duos left !! :awe:

Also id say some are bestsellers after ones with licensing issues are take out of the equation.

Like you guys I too own those games... but for people that don’t, it’s a good deal because I went on eBay last night and saw Jumping Flash at £10-£29 BIN average and Wild Arms at over £20 to £70, I stopped adding up what each game would cost physically there and then.

I might consider it if it uses FPGA/ hardware emulation like they had in PS2.. but I have a feeling it won't.

and that's assuming it will get hacked of course because the stock game list isn't great.

It’s likely going to be a reskinned PSTV.

I’m cancelling my preorder. The line up games is abysmal when you consider how good the PSONE library is

The game list doesn't make sense at all. They should have concentrated on pre Dualshock games fitting the supplied controller.

Also I would rather have seen some these titles as I thing that they are better representing the core PSX experience of 20 years ago without too much rights issues attached:

Ridge Racer (Revolution)
Toshinden 2
Tekken 2
Air Combat
Wipeout
Parappa
Kula World
