Some folks are hopeful that Yuzo Koshiro will provide the soundtrack. Kind of strange to not use that in the announcement trailer then.

I bloody hate flash for games in general. The odd few it's suits and looks OK.
As cools says not the worst from the 2 secs of game play we see

I like the idea (and I did enjoy the Dragon's Trap remake they did), not sure I'm sold on the art style at the moment.

I quite like the art style; which is more than I could say about the original.

Strongly hate this whole thing and anyone with anything positive to say about it. At least it in't Bare Knuckle 4 but call it Fighting Force 4 for ****'s sake. Honestly mostly **** off about them naming it the official fourth in main series and then making Axel look like a fat bum.

Compared to the recent homages and clones, SoR4 does look a tad crappy... I dare say lazy.
When you look back at the graphical jumps from SoR 1 to 3, they were quite significant. SoR4 looks to have taken a step backwards given today’s capabilities. At the very least it should be on par with an Arc System’s game.

I'm warming to it now after the initial shock... I hope it turns out to be a classic.

Latest offscreen footage from... some recent convention somewhere (?).

People may still not be fond of the artstyle (I'm warming to it), but they've undeniably nailed the gameplay. Looks fantastic.

I’ve been playing the Streets of Rage Remake a bit recently, so I’ll be giving this a bash once it comes out. I might have a go at putting the 16:9 setting onto my Tri sync tosh to help slim the beefcakes a bit :fastlove:

Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games are thrilled to reveal that Yūzō Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, the original Streets of Rage series’ incomparable composers, will be joined by an all-star ensemble in contributing brand new tracks for the Streets of Rage 4 soundtrack.

Thanks to the help of Brave Wave Productions, a music label that brings the work of Japanese game musicians to global audiences, Streets of Rage 4 will feature original music from:

- Yūzō Koshiro (Streets of Rage 1, 2 & 3, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Revenge Shinobi, Shenmue I & II,...)
- Motohiro Kawashima (Streets of Rage 2 & 3, Shinobi II, Batman Returns,...)
- Yoko Shimomura (Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Kingdom Hearts I, II & III, Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve,...)
- Hideki Naganuma (Jet Set Radio & Future, Super Monkey Ball, Sega Rally 2,...)
- Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bowl,...)

More information and surprises about the Streets of Rage 4 soundtrack will be revealed in the future.

That... might be better than just Koshiro alone. Kawashima's tracks were just as good as Koshiro's and I'm very excited to hear what Naganuma can do in a SoR style.

(There's a video that went with the announcement, but it doesn't contain any new music, game footage or info)
