I used to think this place was all about pandering to your baser instincts. Now I understand. It doesn’t cater to your lowest self, it reveals your deepest self. It shows you who you really are.

Will be getting this on release.

I'm not sure I've seen a worse video of what's likely one of the most polished games yet made. Put me off it entirely.

Rockstar visuals post GTA:SA haven't appealled at all either. The semi realism doesn't do anything for me.

I appreciate how incredible it looks and the vast effort behind it. Movie games have moved on such that it doesn’t even look like a bad movie, more a quite decent one.

But, how is this a game?

That's a very curious statement. How is it not?

I shouldn’t pick at a game and genre I know nothing about, but when watching this sort of trailer the turn off to me is that at no point does it look like a game.

Personally: a game has challenge, obstacles, rules, a goal and a clear visual of those elements. Watching a good player should be obviously different to watching a bad player (disregarding speedrun style game-breaking tricks).

I just rarely get that impression from movie games. Certainly not from this trailer.

My review of the trailer wasn’t factored in to the metacritic score then?
