Shame it has such abysmal Video Connections really otherwise it would be a good idea.

Other problem is the prefectly acceptable original console can be had on Egay for less & that will at least give you RGB.

Good idea though but ultimately flawed :( :(

If they get the license to do something like this why dont they just re-release the Megadrive II again? It looks a lot better than that too :awe:

I like the look of it, never owned a mega drive was more of a snes and neogeo man. probably easy to RGB mod.

I've got a double switched MD1 if anyone is interested. Does RGB the old fashioned way - through a cable that connects to the video out :P (afaik its the same cable as an AES on the MD1)

That's what put me off buying one, that and the games looked a bit dull.

I've got a pair of PPUs from Playchoice 10 PCBs, and I'm about to RGB mod my 2 NES's. One for the telly, the other for the cab.
