I need to get back into COD4, Completed COD5 on PC and it was ok, I enjoyed it but not as much as COD4s story or gameplay. I prefer modern combat as I liked Sodiler Of Fortune II. Never played COD5 online, Not sure if I want to... I think I left COD4 ranked about 15 on my second run on Multiplayer :geek:

I love COD 4, while I'm still trying to force myself to finish World at War. The SAS are just so badass!

I love this franchise and have been an avid fan since 3. Having said that, I kinda lost interest with the latest one. I gather that 6 is handed of to Treyarch again and the main company (wjo's name escapes me) are busy making COD7: Future War. Apparently. Net rumours.

So are they dropping the Call of Duty name with this and just calling it Modern Warfare 2? I can't wait for this, I put way too many hours into COD4. World at War just felt a bit **** to me from what I played of it in the demos, the Multiplayer beta was ok but the single player campaign demo was complete ****.

In other Call of Duty news, the original COD is being released on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN :awe:

From CVG..

The 'Call of Duty' name has been cut from the title of Infinity Ward's CoD4 follow-up, which is now simply called 'Modern Warfare 2'.

Activision confirmed the news last night via a press release, also claiming that the first Modern Warfare is the "best-selling first-person action game of all time", with over 12 million copies flogged. Prove them wrong.

I have loved every Infinity Ward COD game, I dont think Treyarch quite has a handle on the franchise yet. I played COD2 for COD4 for far too many months to be healthy. At one point I think it was the only game I played on the 360 for over 6 months. You could have glued the drive shut at that point.
