Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
It did, & its at least half the thickness of a normal LCD + as its going on the Lind (just as soon as I get a mount) I don't need a TV tuner.
But sods law it drops £30 as soon as I buy it or is that the oline price only ? I see if you add it to cart they want £60 for delivery

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
720p is perfect for PS3, 1080p actually looks worse for SF4 (upscaled) Arcade version is 720p too. Most LCDs above 32" are crap anyway.jonny5 wrote:only does 720p tho.....kinda limiting...especially long term

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
1080p on 32" so pointless as said by the press.
So if I phone my local store now I could be up for a £30 refund as its under 7 days ?

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
1080p is only useful on 50" and larger displays.. 1080p on smaller sets is a marketing gimmick.. FULL HD!..

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
So let me get this right - I spent the best part of a grand on a 40 inch Sony LCD with 1080p, and it's no better than a 720? Really? Bummer...

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
You're all blind if you can't tell the difference between 1080 lines and 720 lines. On a screen any size.
The pixels don't magically disappear running 1080 on a 32" display.

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
IF you have a film and run on in 720p and the same film in 1080p (same video source) side by side on a 1080p 32" LCD you'd see no difference.. So I'd assume same with a PS3/XBOX360 game at 720p/1080p on a 32" LCD.cools wrote:You're all blind if you can't tell the difference between 1080 lines and 720 lines. On a screen any size.

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
A static image will show it up even more! So long as it's a 1080 source image and not an upscaled 720.
I agree that for moving video, and sitting "viewing distance" away on a screen that size it becomes extremely difficult to tell the difference. But sitting cab distance away it'll be bloody obvious.

Re: Cheap LCD Monitor
That's a good price, But I wouldn't be paying no £60 delivery fee, What courier firm are they using ? £30 would be closer to the mark on something that size and weight.
"Yeah lets all get ponys instead, wait no lol trendy cabs" Err I think you meant Ponies didn't you ?
