I read some reviews a while back and seem to remember the general opinion was that the d-pad was squishy, vague and unresponsive and it had issues running some carts accurately or something. You can plug it in to your tv and use standard SNES pads but then an actual SNES is cheaper and does a far better job. The best handheld SNES is a GBA

I picked one of these when I was in Japan! It's ok, it's a beast in the hands though

Re: Anyone got a Supaboy?
These things look quit nice actually, I was tempted to buy one a little while back.
While we are on the subject of silly names for products that actually might be cool, did anyone get a Hyperboy?
These things look pretty weird but cool, Apparently there was a batch of them unearthed a while back, so they are not so rare.
By all accounts they seem to work pretty well, the screen is enclosed and well lit, and there is a cool mechanism for how the 'arcade style' buttons and sticks operate;

Not had a supaboy, but have had two variations of the FC-16 Go;

If you have a collection of NTSC carts, it's a nice bit of kit for a quick grind on Secret of Mana while you're somewhere away from your CRT. Don't expect first party quality and you might actually be pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The shoulder buttons are crap on the FC-16, but I found the d-pad perfectly usable.
