Hotline Miami 2 - Wrong Number (Steam, PSN)
Purchased on PS4 last night. Brutally hard in the best possible way (the last level on scene 1 took me 50 mins to finish) and an engaging (albeit dark) story line.
The soundtrack is epic too. Recommended

So far the music has been a mix of 80's synth, slow triphop style beats and slowish deep house with a 90's feel.geotrig wrote:Is it still the same type of music that was on 1 ? i.e 80's synthy stuff , i havent played 1 but seen some good synth stuff that was on it i've wanted to play it for the music

It is similar to the first games but I would say that the original soundtrack may just have the edge so far... Time will tell. Both are really good.

I'm balls deep in this at the minute and loving every minute
It's just as brutally unforgiving as the first one if not a little harder.
I played the first one on Vita and I'm playing this one on PC with a 360 controller which is much more comfortable.
Great game, highly recommended

^ This .____.
Played it until around 1am last night. I'm hooked
It's perfectly balanced...Damn hard but never unfair. True old-new school gaming.

^this!
Just finished it. Some parts were hard as nails but it was great fun all the way through.
As with the first game the music is great and needs to be played LOUD. I've downloaded the OST and I've got it blasting out. It's nearly three hours 20 mins long

Yeah the Vice City sound track was great. Some of the GTA3 sound track too... mainly because it's etched in my memory due to the sheer amount of time I spent playing that game. I remember endless searching for some of the Rise FM tracks years ago when I was still DJing, I would have loved to have dropped a couple of those and see if anyone recognised them
I've actually got the [GTAV pause menu music] playing at the moment, I really love that track.

Re: Hotline Miami 2 - Wrong Number (Steam, PSN)
I am hooked on Hotline Miami 2 since day 1 too
It's so hard at some points. I am stuck in level 24 for days now.
One time I cleared two floors (so had checkpoints) but then my Vita froze, so I had to start over.
Cross-save with Vita and PS4 is great too, wish it was also able to cross save with Steam.

Bought this on Thursdaylast week and its a great game. Completed and it is a bit harder than the first. Well worth £10.
Will give it 8 scrotums out of 10.
