Let me know your thoughts Geo, it looks ace
That's crap dude.
Will probably only get an good 30mins in now before I have to pop out so hopefully I get a bit of any idea of what it's like.
Clever thinking wigsplitta my internet is crappy as well at the mo so took since last night to DL the 10gb.

Nah seriously hard gauge at the moment . Have played 2 levels so far and seem reasonable enough ,nothing feels too off. Pace is good difficulty is nt atrocious either .I though the Battles we saw where at the end of stages but are just selectable so seems a bit odd ,I presume they'll get more difficult . Although I've died a ton of times already. Lol
There is 3 world's but has a "finale" as well, so no idea yet how big the game is. So far send worth the 20 quid.

I've had about 90 minutes with it. It's like a tough Gunstar Heroes boss rush. Consider the run n' gun levels as a welcome intermission. Looks gorgeous and has that "just one more go" factor down to a tee.

Yeah it definitely does ,is there other types of levels other than r'n'g and bosstype fights pang?

It's not possible to map the dash to the jump key by any chance, right? I really like a minimum of buttons on any arcade style game. Is it four or five buttons + directions?
you can remap all the buttons but it uses 6 and does not let you map 2 functions to the same button. you could maybe do without the hold function, means you cannot stand still while shooting in a diagonal though

My son downloaded this on steam, and was playing on his laptop. It's a pretty stout laptop, his grandparents bought it for him and they tend to spoil him. He's getting screen tearing at the top 1/4 of the screen. Game resolution set to 1920x1080 (desktop res is 3000x2000, at 60hz). We tried turning vsync on and off in the in-game options - no difference either way. The in-game options are pretty sparse.
Anybody else experiencing this and have any suggestions for remedying it?
