Is this the one with the non-OLED screen?
Christ, I may need to get one sooner as I want the OLED model.

Yeah, that is the only bummer. Curious to see them side by side.
41g lighter and better battery life is a plus though.

The console itself's great but there's a severe lack of good games.

Wow, I didn't know there was a PS Vita Slim!

OMG they are making it LCD instead of OLED?! That's crazy!
Rounder edges make it better, that's more like it.
It's not even much cheaper, surely the only reason to make it LCD would be to save money?

I don't want one anyway cause it's got cameras on it.
If they wanted to make it cheaper they should make one without cameras on it. They made a PSP without WiFi so it could be done :)

Are Japan getting it or do they keep the OLED version? I don't imagine they would go for LCD over OLED.

Alien Zombie Death (although a little low resolution), PAC-MAN™ Championship Ed. and Super Stardust look nice on the Vita screen.
Unlike Nintendo, Sony let you keep the games you've paid for.

The lack of updated PS1 content is disappointing though, they havent added anything for months so they probably never will. The PSN store is also a mess with broken images and game titles mixed in multiple languages or wrongly categorized

I havent seen the LCD versoion for sale around here, i'd like to compare it to the current oled model because the little screen really is stunning.

I'm quite surprised by how much I'm enjoying my Vita (even if it is a bit like a tablet, but with proper controls).
I've not bought anything other than the console and I have plenty decent games (the 10 game download voucher helped). It' also tempting to play through Flower again, just because it's on the Vita. Similarly, I never considered buying Sine Mora on 360 or PS3, but will get the Vita version.
Sure Sony and PSN are far from perfect, but I'm willing to forgive for the moment.

must confess, I am considering it. Especially as I have cancelled my Xbox Live (for the first time since Halo 2).

PS+ is well worth it.

I read that the OLED model won't be available once the stock's gone so got nervous and bought one again yesterday :palm:

The PS4 remote play's really slick. Playing Battlefield 4 on the Vita's pretty cool :whoopsie:

and however bad the OLED Vita battery usage is, it's still nowhere near as bad as the Game Gear. :problem:

I think PS+ is a nice way of peddling their proprietary memory card business. :awe:
