Is this the one with the non-OLED screen?
Christ, I may need to get one sooner as I want the OLED model.

Yeah, that is the only bummer. Curious to see them side by side.
41g lighter and better battery life is a plus though.

The console itself's great but there's a severe lack of good games.

That was 99 in hmv not long back for the solus pack.

Ridiculous price and lovely hardware but still nothing I'd want to play on it.

Nt even Uncharted ? that all I got mine for & eventually sold it months later but it was not easy to sell unlike anything I've ever owned before.

Wow, I didn't know there was a PS Vita Slim!

OMG they are making it LCD instead of OLED?! That's crazy!
Rounder edges make it better, that's more like it.
It's not even much cheaper, surely the only reason to make it LCD would be to save money?

I don't want one anyway cause it's got cameras on it.
If they wanted to make it cheaper they should make one without cameras on it. They made a PSP without WiFi so it could be done :)

Are Japan getting it or do they keep the OLED version? I don't imagine they would go for LCD over OLED.

Japan got it first.

The white ones quite nice but I still prefer the original. Dat screen.

Alien Zombie Death (although a little low resolution), PAC-MAN™ Championship Ed. and Super Stardust look nice on the Vita screen.
Unlike Nintendo, Sony let you keep the games you've paid for.

I'm really enjoying this machine actually, it's wonderful with ps+ and all previous PS1 purchases on PSN are downloadable for free and just work. PS+ definitely makes this machine worthwhile.

Uncharted was very good, stunning graphics in some parts, but definitely the weakest of the series, but it's on a handheld and still was by no means terrible. I'm currently playing Guacamelee and it's fantastic:

Looks great on the little screen.

The lack of updated PS1 content is disappointing though, they havent added anything for months so they probably never will. The PSN store is also a mess with broken images and game titles mixed in multiple languages or wrongly categorized

I havent seen the LCD versoion for sale around here, i'd like to compare it to the current oled model because the little screen really is stunning.
