Ah sorry I misunderstood a bit there. So Sonic is potentially the first game where your location can trigger an automatic shift in view. A Smart camera. I can't think of anything previous. I suppose it's one if those things where if it's done well, you don't notice it.

Just started Soul Hackers on 3DS. Pretty cool so far, only about an hour in though and the majority of that has been text but finally getting into the game proper now.

Parodius collection on PSP. It's a really nice collection, and although I have the Saturn ports it's nice to be able to play it on a hand held. been playing sexy over the last few days which is probably my fave in the series, although I do still have a soft spot for Da.

Dragons crown on vita. Honestly the best game I've played since dungeon master when I was 14 (I'm now 38). I will be inconsolable when I finish it

Tonight, I am playing Mortal Kombat.

I had a real blast yesterday, and after those Endurance Battles, Shang Tsung was a real bitch to beat. Button maschin deluxe, and kinda hard to get used the button layout, after several years of 2-button-games and streetFighter2.

It was fun! recommended! 8-)

I'll be playing Battle K-Road. I want to beat the game with one credit. Hopefully that won't take long because I got a bunch of beers and a pile of Ultraman episodes to go through too. :shifty:

Now that I'm Astro City-less I find I am playing games less than I used too. I miss my cab so much.. ;( When I do play videogames it's either on GGPO playing Super SF2 Turbo trying to level-up my Ken. (Damn, those French players have gotten strong!) Or on ShmupMame practicing R-Type for score. I want to try and get on the world top 5 scoreboard on the 360 Xbox live version which is near the Arcadia world-record score :/ Unsurprisingly the top 5 players on the scoreboard are all from Japan and are all 2-loop 1-Credit clears with suicide milking on 1-7 :/ It's gonna be a massive challenge. I'm in no rush though.

And my wife is playing though GTA5. I don't mind watching her play it while I'm doing my own thing but I knew after playing the game for 20mins it's not the game for me. Dont get me wrong, the pure size of the city is mega-impressive but it feels more of a simulator than a challenging videogame, not the style of game I enjoy. I think I'm too stuck in my 2D/Digital controls :)

Heya. I still have it. It's just that me and the wife have moved home to my mothers house for 6 months to save for a mortgage. It was too hard paying rent at the same time. The Astro is all wrapped up and under loads of boxes in my mums garage. she's safe ;)
