Re: Tonight I'm playing:
As much as I would like to play something, preferably WipEout 2048. I can't 'cos my Vita is taking an eternity to download my 10 games.
And WipEout appears to be at the end of the list.
I'm also surprised by how much like a tablet the PS Vita is. I'll need to get used to it.
Plus, why put an OLED screen in there, and then make me slide my mucky fingers all over it.
Sure, you might think that there's sticks and buttons to use, but it's awkward and there are things you appear to be only able to achieve via the screen (like the page that opens when you bring it out of its aggressive power saving, which I'm guessing it has to be quite strict on).
I need a nice stylus I think.
Come on TxK.

Wipeout's great on the Vita. I like how the background shuffles about when you fondle the rear touch pad
All this Vita talk's making me want one again for the 3rd time

Vita's are lovely, but there's not enough I want to play on them to warrant me buying one

Where's the Vita version?FrancoB wrote:I'm late to the party but I've just started playing Hammerwatch recently, it's geofrigging awesome!
It could even use the twin sticks. But not the front touch screen. That just makes it dirty. If a game needs to be touched, then let it be touched on the rear where the smears matter not.

Still playing Gordon Brown's Smegma Melange on the Vita! Girl With Massive **** Game is still sealed. Going to wait until I've finished off Gordon Brown before I start that one.
The art book for Girl With Massive **** Game is great though!
What are the free Vita games for March? Have to say, glad I got a Vita now. Don't know where all the misery over it is coming from, there's lots to play and makes the commute fly by!

Erm, I still don't know what you mean by 'Gordon Brown' game.Pyongyang wrote:Still playing Gordon Brown's Smegma Melange on the Vita! Girl With Massive **** Game is still sealed. Going to wait until I've finished off Gordon Brown before I start that one.

I thought you were doing rhyming slang for 'Dragon's Crown' but it seems not.

Re: Tonight I'm playing:
Think I'm on level 10/12 at the moment with the Paladin on medium difficulty. Some of the enemies/bosses do get a bit tricky but I wouldn't say it's hard. I have been pillaging like a boss though and I've nearly got all of the upgrades which does make it easier, especially when you find how to use the attacks/abilities that you purchased hours ago, i.e. press the other buttons
I think it's fantastic though.I'm definitely going to play through it again with the other characters and find all of the secrets/planks etc although I might crank up the difficulty a bit

Re: Tonight I'm playing:
Yeah it's pretty I think they should have had a coin meter on the main screen though, It does take out a little of the greed aspect not being able to see it tick up

Re: Tonight I'm playing:
This evening I've been playing Atomic Robo-Kid and also Hellfire on the Mega Drive.
Hellfire is one of my favourite MD Shmups, it's one of those games I go back to every now and then and it's always a delight to play.
