Jesus Christ!! How much do your hands sweat!!!
Give the guy a break, it looks good to me
They don't sweat as much as the wetness of swimming, no, but what I meant is the moisture wil be there and it all adds up so longterm the screws would rust.
I was exaggerating about the edges, just they should be more rounded to avoid injury; as round as those corners.
I agree it's never gonna work as a body poppin' floormat, that's for sure.

I like it!
I'd (personally) have the vinyl covering the entire top and, yes would enjoy a smaller shaft
Do you do aerospace stuff? That colour scheme reminds me of military paint (I like)
I'm a cnc miller - mainly work with aerospace companies components.

I'm an avionics engineer, the paint is part of the Krylon military range, might do the next olive drab.
As for my shaft, it's a bit personal, but is a completely standard Sanwa item...

Sure, it might be a personal opinion, but as a general rule, SANWA shafts are supposed to be:

Yeah this is 28mm, guess I could stick a washer or two in; but I'm happier with a plate to plate mounting.

Really nice clean work sir
The military colour way with the carbon fiber graphic is a bit different but IMHO works really well.
