They're the ones with ridiculous regional restriction demands. Why won't they just give up already? :problem:

£370 with Titanfall at Gamestop. Forza and KI also very good games. A much better purchase than PS4 despite it being the better console. Sort it out Sony.

crunchywasp wrote:It's par for the course really. If you buy a console at launch you know for a fact and accept that it'll be cheaper in due course and sooner rather than later. I'm never under any illusion when I buy at launch.

There's hardly any good reason to buy either just now I reckon - games are thin on the ground for both. I prefer the PS4 hardware but the Xbox One has better exclusives at the mo. I suspect Titanfall will shift a fair few units though.
I'm never under any illusion either when it comes to prices and i know i'm paying for "having it now" ,I take it as par for the course as well that the cost will go down etc and they all become cheaper i actually take it for granted the later on that i buy it "x" console ..... i do find it odd that any company find themselves discounting the price within 2 months of launch.this would not have been part of the strategy they set out with i would guess.
It proably is more aprice adjustment as they priced it too high to begin with anyway....but if they keep doing that people /early adopters will get **** off ..

The least they could do is throw out a free CRAP 50gb dl game to compensate registered machines. :awe:

tbh the price drop still doesnt tempt me to buy one.

Update is up which (apparently) resolves the 50hz passthru issues (amongst other tweaks with the OS).

PMSL!!!

@Crunchy - Titanfalls great, the movement takes me back to more old skool stuff. Still hate aiming down sights but otherwise awesome.

Yep, it's great! I can't remember enjoying mech combat more in anything else. It's great fun playing as a Pilot too and immensely satisfying taking out Titans on foot. Loving it :awe:

I agree, it's exhilarating. The first time you see two Titans go at it right in front of you takes your breath away. That said, I've never felt so short-changed. If they put the same amount of time and effort into a single player mode as other developers, it'd be a 10/10 classic. If this is the future of FPS, I'm not buying any more.

Have to agree, SP on this would have been potentially awesome.

Comming from cod devs you could have expected that, do any of those games have a sp that takes more than 3 hours? If any its a glorified intro to how the controls work

A proper campaign could've been great. They've a cheek to call what is there campaign mode - the only reason to play it's to unlock the other chassis.

At full price for MP only it'll be scandalous if future DLC's not FOC. It'll totally not be FOC :problem:
