Have better things to think about whilst stroking myself than the PS4.

As Ross does, just stroke yourself. If I happen to catch some PS4 at the same time, then that's just circumstantial.

Re: Anyone stroking themselves over the PS4 launch announcem
I wasn't too impressed with the PS4. More sequels, more social media ****...though I thought the streaming game-play was an interesting idea, which would probably eliminate the services like Twitch, Ustream and the like. Though the feature of calling up your buddy to play your game 'cause it's too hard for you, while you sit there watching is comedy to me.
The Infamous Second Son introduction was laughable and corny. "here's a bunch of conspiracy theory, scare-tactic facts...and now what if you were a super hero!" ....wut.
Square-Enix's showing off the old E3 movie of Final Fantasy was a disappointment. All I could think of was, "you had about a year now since the E3 trailer, and you can't show anything new??"
Blizzard's "announcement" was such a let down. Chris Metzen gets up there, explains how "hardcore" Blizzard still is and that it's grass-roots are consoles, builds-up this whole BS line of a big announcement...to reveal Diablo III. Yay. PS3 and PS4, so don't get your hopes up for any kind of changes there...sounds like lack-luster porting. All through his speech I was thinking "no way...are they going to resurrect Ghost??". 'Cause honestly, if Sony and Blizzard could rub two braincells together and put some money into updating and finally releasing Starcraft:Ghost, it would sell like hot-cakes". Especially with Sony's apparent push for action-based, FPS' and Third-person games. Blizzard already has the fan-base numbers...it seems like a no-brainer to me, business-wise, and it wouldn't break Blizzard's mantra of having their 3 and only 3 licenses released out of that studio.
Anyways, the only thing I thought was somewhat interesting was a bit more footage on Watch Dogs.
Other than that, PS4 looks like a snore. M$ doesn't have much of a bar to reach to go beyond Sony's presentation.

Only that it's still the same old company that lied about ingame graphics before they launched the ps2 and then did the same thing with the ps3.theevilfunkster wrote:Well, games still look like games...

I agree, I had to wait nearly a year after the launch to get som good games. But the same dissapointment happened with X360IDCHAPPY wrote:Not heard too much about it apart from the joypad design, I'll probably still buy it at some point, maybe not for the £500+ I paid for the PS3

Re: Anyone stroking themselves over the PS4 launch announcem
I'm waiting till E3 till I make any kind of pre-launch judgement on either.
I don't think the MS reveal was great as an event but actually when you get your head round it what their offering is a solid piece of hardware. Sonys reveal was hardly stellar and in truth showed the square root of **** all.
I think both will have some pretty cool games at E3 and that's what I'm looking forward to. Until then I don't really give a **** about what either has revealed so far.
