Quite enjoying Axiom Verge too. Not sure how far I am, it's a little wandery for my tastes but it's certainly good fun. Like the NES aesthetic mixed with modern effect sensibilities. It looks better on a 1080p screen though - the various unusual areas that zoom out or apply a scanline effect are rendered 1:1 there rather than on the handheld.

I've got Skyrim coming soon, which I've not played at all ever. Garg barg.

Started intentionally limiting my purchases. There are dozens more titles I'd like to buy (all physical) and I'd end up spending hundreds every month at this rate.

I've about 30 + % covered i;d say at a guess and numerous numerous (too many for my paltry % )hrs but like you i have found it a bit wandery alright :) I played it docked last night for the 1st time and was surprised at how good it looked alright. had trouble with my joycon for the 1st time really so need to move the switch dock.
Havent played skyrim ever either but its not on my immediate list of wants unless i get it cheap (think i'd just get lost in it and not know what im doing ) ,next pickup will be either bayonetta / doom or resident evil revelations collection for me but am spreading the purchases out a bit at the moment aka totally broke !! and have tried to stop buying any more digital copies :problem:

The system need a really good driving game other than mario kart and im still waiting for some snowbording /steep / 1080 type game ! :problem:

EA could do a simple port of SSX 3 and I'd be happy. (Man, SSX 3 is 15 years old!)

Has there ever been a good proper driving game on a Nintendo system?

Lamborghini Challenge, which is a conversion of Crazy Cars III, the Amiga game, the latter of which is the one I played. Great game, I used to want a modern update of it using the Gran Turismo engine.

I’d love to see SSX 3 & Tricky on the Switch.

My Bayonetta NONSTOPINFINITECLIMAXEDITION is on it's way from Japan :awe:

Anyone interested in the non-game crap that comes with it - cards/box/steelbook and the like? I only want the 2 boxed games.
