And therein lies the dilemma.pubejoe wrote:There's still a few months to redeem yet. Apparently they'll be putting some good stuff up before it ends.
Get some items that are "passable" at best now, or wait and see what they offer later on, which could (A) be really good but sell out quicker than I can get a look in, or (B) turn out to be so utter **** **** that I just think **** to it and let the stars expire.

Re: Super Nintenbros!
I was really hoping that this year we'd get a cool Legend of Zelda statue considering the past couple of statues have been Mario/Luigi's Mansion related. There's (apparently) two Zelda games coming out this year, I have a **** load of star points saved up with more to enter.... it was looking potentially good. Then this happens
Maybe the replacement will be better, but until then I have to decide what to spend my current points on. The only thing on there at the moment that I'd get is the Ball Game & Watch.

Yeah that is the dillemma. I'm probably going to wait aswell - and then the only items of slight interest will soon disappear due to the ticking clock.
Apparently they'll replace it with something. The premium point thingy they were doing recently would be okay. Far less stressful anyway.

To be fair everyone moans about it. It's outdated, the reward rush annoys most customers, and like I said above the survey results are worthless. No one can be arsed to answer properly, half the questions don't even make sense and a large chunk of the stats are made up by despicable ( ) ebay flippers - who give another big reason to dump it.skykappah wrote:Get rid of the only positive promotion that set you apart from all others? Sweet! Region locking on the 3DS (up to the latest firmware 9.4.x) has been beaten without the need for a flash cart, specific game etc.
Time to start looking at importing some 3DS games perhaps?

Re: Super Nintenbros!
Metroid Prime Trilogy is up on the eShop now for £8.99.
I hear its the best thing since sliced bread but from videos etc, looks pretty boring.
Convince me its worth getting because to me, it looks like I might waste £8.99.

Re: Super Nintenbros!
I've already wasted £8.99
In 2002 I played the first game on GC to about 80% completion. I always intended to finish it but baby duty kept getting in the way.
At first it looks like a generic sci fi FPS but it has a very unique feel - once you're used to the controls anyway. It's certainly a successful translation of Metroid's quality of mood and gameplay.
I've always wanted to play through all the Metroid games. I finally checked Super Metroid off my list when Nath and I completed it recently. I'm keen to get to the FPS trilogy one day and I am a big fan of the Wii U's function as a classic Nintendo game library. I'm perfectly happy keeping it for sometime in the future as the Prime games are some of the more expensive of Nintendo's back catalogue.
The only downside of purchase is I'll likely continue never getting round to them.

It's alright. I have a non-motionplus wiimote and a dirty old nunchuck kicking around. Too crusty to charge.

Re: Super Nintenbros!
Sounds like they're too crusty to receive as well.
Thanks for the offer, but the neurotic side of me convinced me ages ago that I need a matching black motion plus wiimote for our wuu.

Sorry mosh, forgot about the chuck. Like you said it probably wouldn't have been worth the time and cost of postage though.
