Diablo 3

Post by CHALLENGER »

I've been playing this game through thick and thin, overall I like it. Yeah it's not perfect by a long shot, but still a pretty good game imho. Is there any of you folks that play? Also on what server?

Absolute ****, And by that I mean you need to be online just to play the single player campaign, What an absolute fail>So if the servers are down or my internet goes down I can't play the game I bought, Lol yeah right :lolno: . Torch light 2 will be a better game imho.

That's your mistake - you didn't buy Diablo 3. You leased the ability to play the game under Blizzard's rules and by Blizzard's graces.

I'm holding out for Lineage Eternal. Looks like a far superior game, from visuals to gameplay. Love the gestural spell casting, the camera work, the animations look so heavy and impactful, and look at that minimalist HUD.

Lol yeah right, what happens when I want to play said leased game in single player mode and get error code 37 ? and I can't play my leased game because Blizzard can't get their **** together, presumably Blizzard refund me :lolno:

I was creaming my pants about this coming out.

Too bad it's 5 years too late.

Not gonna bother.

Wrong again Bob. You should read their Terms of Service. At least for Americans, you are literally leasing the ability to play the game by Blizzard's rules when Blizzard says you can. And if they want to deny you the ability to play, for any reason or no reason at all, they can, without needing to notify you. You have no recourse should this happen.
Now, whether or not this will happen is a different story, but this is (partly) why I don't give my money to Blizzard.

Besides the server problems on launch, I really don't see this being an issue for 99% of people.

Must just be me that wants to play a game when I choose and not when a software company tells me a can, You know some times you have to wait in a queue to even play the single player game ?

Do I pay £40+ for games>No
Do I support small indie games or publishers that don't charge an arm and a leg>hell's yes
I bought Legend of grimrock even though I downloaded it from usernet first, I will be buying Torchlight 2 because I don't need to be online\lan to play single player and it's coming out at $20 ;)

No that's a lame argument, That will never stop the pirates it just hurts the legit players that buy the game, It's only a matter of time before there's a cracked server up like what happened with wow, This says it better than I could>
