I'm a little confused with DoDonPachi.
Looking at Play-Asia they have Do Don Pachi Daifukkatsu Black Label and Do Don Pachi Resurrection.

What's the difference, do you need both?
Take your eyes off Cave and the 360 for a while and lose the plot.

Download as a dlc only (black label) in the UK but there's no Ketsupachi...(which i'm not too fussed anyway, it is inlcuded in standalone jpn disc)...
I played very little of arcade pcb 1.5..never owned it & was sure it was not worth the money...i saved & got the BL kit..everything was improved & altered & that auto bomb kicked into touch for a start, BL is a proper challenge...for me it was like going from SF TO SSF2T..you never go back.
I sold the kit for...ah what was it now?...£865...got this for £25!! :D
I collect money now....not pcb's & not Candy cabs!!.

Does anyone have a track-list for the OST disc? I went to rip it when it arrived on Thursday, but it obviously wasn't on CDDB. In fact, I'm starting to think no-one uses CDDB any more (as in: submitting data to it)... But I digress. I want to rip the music, but don't like the idea of having umpteen "cave - xx - unknown.ogg" tracks. </firstworldproblems>

I've had a quick go at searching Google, but didn't find anything - although that could simply be because my Google-fu is getting weak in my old age.

I tend to play all my Cave stuff on my NTSC-J console and just wanted to keep everything tidy.
As stated earlier, it definitely doesn't work on Japanese x360s. I just tested it this morning and it gives the expected region-coding error.

Is there any news on any future Cave releases for PAL gamers? Wouldn't mind trying out Akai Katana Shin, Death Smiles II, Ketsui Kizuna Jigoku Tachi etc

This post says that Akai Katana Shin is being released in Europe by Rising Star Games, but I've not seen any mention of it outside of that thread. It'd be nice if true, since I've still not gotten around to picking up a Japanese copy. *Adds that to his "todo" list*

Same... I've still got the email from Amazon to remind me of my pre-order. Dated 2010-09-08. I should probably cancel that...

I've heard (possibly incorrectly [EDIT: confirmed as incorrect!]) that the Japanese version is region-free. It's tempting to get that instead of waiting for a few more years.

My zavvi order for the game recently got cancelled. Not sure what the hold up is for the release?

I've read that the the Japanese version is region locked so no luck there?

Yeah, it looks like you're right. I've just checked Play-Asia and that says it is indeed region-locked. Sorry for the mis-information; not sure which game I was thinking of...

Anyway, I've got a Japanese Xbox 360, so it doesn't matter to me. :)
