So far diggin the hell out of this. Running on my VGA Naomi cabinet courtesy of the PS3 JVS-Pac. Supports 4:3 monitors and looks absolutely stunning running on the Arcade.

Definately worth $15 and tops Hyper Anniversary as the top SF2 version now.

 It isn't a patch in HSF2. The graphics are v v poor. You can clearly see that a different artist has drawn different frames of animation. Some backgrounds look unfinished (Chun Li).

Nice novelty, but shouldn't be called Super SF2 Turbo.

Now for the important stuff, can it run in 4:3 without borders on the PS3?

Is this the default layout?

I have a problem with americans updating a japanese games art even though I apreciate american art i.e marvel, dc, etc.

When I first put the game on it looked and felt like a homebrew game however after playing it for a while I adjusted and realised it didn't look and feel too bad.

Bingo. That is EXACTLY my problem with this game. Love Japanese games art, hate American art. I've always hated SFHD graphics, ever since the first pics came out. Those characters just look horrible to me.

It's like when you walk in a room which smells bad. At first you notice that and after a while you don't. That doesn't mean the room no longer stinks.

Let's face it guys, had this game been redrawn by the Japanese, it would have looked freaking awesome and not like a f flash game... Who am I kidding, I already know I'll be back to my astro with HSF after a week...

Like Madonna said in the 80's: Japanese DO IT BETTER :awe:

Downloaded it, played it... don't remember it being this hard. :)

Looks nice and it's a good nights entertainment when the friends come round so can't really ask for more than that.

Which mode are you playing? The new remixed mode is supposed to be slightly more forgiving.

BTW I hate that, I've been playing this game for ages, I actually want it to be MORE difficult :awe:

Kern, just out of curiosity, how did you manage to get this game for PS3 since you are based in the UK? Is there any workaround? Would like to buy an asian ps3 this weekend but that does not make any sense if i can't have sfhd since day one

OK, I'm about to do that. So, just to make sure we are on the same page, If I buy a US psn network card and an Asian Version ps3 I can register online to the us store and buy SFHD... is that 100% correct?

I don't wanna wind up with a useless ps3 this weekend...

No HDTV for me. It's not a problem, I'm buying this game for the remixed mode and the online. Also........................................errrr.................................................................
I was in a videogame shop this evening, to buy a ps3... they had SFHD on.... I've seen it  ..........

You have no idea how sad I am right now because................. **** me, the graphics really suck! They really look horrible, out of proportion, those muscles.... Honda without a neck in his winning pose... god what have they done!!! I'm gonna play it with the old sprites. Too bad those idiots did not include the old sprites for the backgrounds too. I'm gutted, devastated, depressed I really mean it
